F is for Future

The future. What is it? well it is something we don't know much about. Actually we don't know anything about it. No one can possibly know what will happen a minute into the future or one million years into the future.

If you type in what will life be like in the future into Google it comes up with 328,000,000 results. Thats alot for something that no one knows anything about. People have alot of different opinions on the future. Some of them say that eternal life will be discovered, while other people say that the earth will be too hot to even support life on it. Some people say that the whole world will be at war while others say that we will all live together in peace and harmony. What do you think will happen?

A perfect future. Is there such a thing? What would your perfect future be? I think that the perfect future would have peace and everyone would be treated equally. Everyone would have a home and enough food. I think that global warming should stop. Also I think that everyone should just relax, smile, enjoy life and not stress over the little things.

Now when you think about it no matter how much you dream about a perfect future its not going to happen, not realistically. Well it's not going to happen unless you do something. It's no good to just sit around dreaming of what will happen in the future. You have to try to do something to make those dreams come true. If you want everyone to have a home and enough to eat then you can do something. Thinking about it isn't enough you have to try to act and make it happen.

Life Lesson: Dreams for the future can only become true if you act today.

P is for Puppies

I pick the puppy up. Its super soft, jet black fur brushes against my face. It is as light as a feather so small that it seems like one little gust of wind could knock it over. I have never held anything so precious. That's what it is at one day old, a little bundle of fluff and very precious.

Three weeks ago my dog had puppies! Well actually, three weeks ago my dog had six little bundles of fluff that are the cutest things ever. When you pick them up you just can't help but smile! They do the most hilarious things ever! Like when they first start to walk they stumble around everywhere, taking in their surroundings because everything is so new to them.

It is so amazing to watch them grow up... I know I know I sound like your mother probably does on your birthday, but it's true you watch them go from little fluff balls that can't see, hear or walk to puppies that can run around and bark and play. However there is more to them then just their cute black fuzz. Each of them have their own personalities. Whether they are quiet or loud or adventurous or just want to be held.

Have you ever met anyone who doesn't like puppies? Most people would say no to this question. However why does everyone love puppies so much? It can't just be how absolutely adorable they are. There has to be more to it than that. Maybe its because they just make you smile. Maybe its just the fact that they are such little creatures in a such a big wide world, so unaware of their surrounding so completely wrapped up in their own little lives that you just can't help but fall in love with them! Why do you love puppies so much?

I gently put the puppy down. It crawls over to its brothers and sisters. It curls up into a tiny ball next to the others. Now they look like a giant bundle of jet black fluff, huddling together for warmth and comfort. As I look at them I wonder what is going on in their own little worlds knowing that whatever it is it is happy. And staring at them I can't help but smile.
